For those who've been persistently Praying, Worshiping, Listening and Waiting........for those who've been lovingly Remaining In His Word & In His Presence....for those who've been uber Obedient to His Will & His Way.....for those who've been Diligently Using what's in their Hands and Serving with Humility......for those who've kept their Eyes Fixed Like Flint, Holding Tightly to His Hand........for those who courageously continue to Be HIS Light In the Darkness......for those allowing Daddy God to do a Big Ole Heart Check.......for those consistently living each and every second of each and every day with a Thank You Jesus NOW FAITH Attitude........Father God's saying "This Season of Holy Heavy Lifting and ALL that's been Required and Requested by Me to get you to your *For Such a Time  as This* has been Divinely Completed to Perfection!"

Soooooo last Sunday, as I was chillin and getting my Prophetic Read On, this Mighty Meat entitled "I HAVE FOUND WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR" penned thru Amanda Eksteen deeply touched my heart and soul. It's a God Word full of Divine Confirmation and Revelation! It's a God-Ordained Place where some of us have been and have FINALLY Arrived!! It's a Pure Word of Truth that will touch your soul in a way you can't help but Shout.......THANK YOU JESUS!!

So Here We Go..........

I longed for someone or something
to change my life
I had this emptiness and loneliness
inside of me
I had a deep hunger inside
not knowing for what...
I continued having this desire for something
to fill the emptiness
I searched all over for that missing link

I read self help books
I tried to be a better person
I did all the rights things according
to the standard of men
I even attended church on a regular base
But still I was empty on the inside...

Until one day I cried out to one name...
That one sweet name was JESUS
The name above all names
That name saved me...
That name healed me...
That name delivered me...
That name wrote my name
in the palms of His hands

He taught me to love...
He taught me to forgive...
He taught me to have faith...
He taught me to trust Him no matter how hard,
No matter under which circumstances
No matter how I "felt"

He taught me to hear His voice
He showed me my gifts and showcased them
He revealed Himself to me as a loving Father
He told me He loves me
He told me I am His precious daughter
He told me that He will never leave me, nor forsake me.

Today I have peace, love, joy and victory.
Jesus changed my life!

I HAVE FOUND WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!

Oh HALLELUJAH!! Thank You Jesus!! Whewee!! AIN'T THAT A GOD WORD RIGHT THERE?! 

Family, JESUS Soooooooooo LOVES US!! He so CARES for US! He will NEVER Leave or Forsake US! (Hebrews 13:5)  And just like Holy Spirit so lovingly penned through His Anointed Scribe Amanda.....JESUS will Save US! He will Heal US! He will Deliver US! He will Love On US! JESUS has Our Names y'all.......OUR NAMES!! engraved on the Palm of His Hand!! Now THAT'S what I call LOVE!!

Loves, as I close out our time together today. Holy Spirit put on my heart as I re-read this God Word for the umpteenth time.........the hearts and souls of ALL those who are hurting, in despair and terribly disappointed by the turn of events in Washington with the appointment of Mr. Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. I urge you my Brothers and Sisters to NOT Give Up! Please do NOT Stop speaking up and telling your stories of abuse, disrespect and injustice!! Abba Father's Truly Got You despite what IT currently looks like! (Genesis 12:3) He will reveal ALL wrongdoing in His Perfect Timing! (Galatians 6:7)

Please do NOT allow this horrible political (cuz That's ALL it is) nightmare, this terrible mockery of Justice (by those who are actually supposed to Honor and Stand For Justice)....... SILENCE YOUR VOICE!! 

Remember Whose You Are! Remember Whose Light You Carry! Remember Who has Your Name engraved on the Palm of His Hand!! Remember, YOU HAVE FOUND JESUS.....THE ONE YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR.......HE LIVES, BREATHES AND DWELLS IN YOU.......as You Boldly and Courageously Walk Out Your Magnificent Life as HIS LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS!!

TRANSPARENCY....#CanYouSeeMeNow?

Happy Blessed Wednesday Family,

Well my Beauties, for the past couple weeks I've been seeing , hearing, reading the word TRANSPARENCY. A LOT! Soooooo because this is HIS Mona Girl Blog.......Holy Spirit's got us pulling up to His Divine Table today to feast on This Word and what It means.  And Here We Go.......


"TRANSPARENCY" as defined by Merriam-Webster has several definitions but for our purposes, here are the ones that fit the best: "fine or sheer enough to be seen through"; "free from pretense or deceit"; "easily detected or seen through"; "readily understood".

"TRANSPARENCY" in Spanish: Transparencia; in Italian: Trasparenza; in German: Transparenz; and in French: Transparence. 

No matter how IT's Defined, no matter how you Say IT, TRANSPARENCY......one who is Being Transparent.....is such a Cool Thing To Be.....To Do....is such a Cool Way To Live!

My take on TRANSPARENCY is, when you've gone thru some tough times, grown thru some life stuff, you tend to be more open and more willing to share your emotions and feelings. You are more apt to speak your mind and share your opinion (whether folks want to hear/receive It or not). I find the more time I spend with Daddy God in His Mighty Presence, the more comfortable I become in my own skin and that seems to play right into me being more Transparent in the way I live, speak, act, etc.  Because I've become more aware of my True Identity in HIM, (and Boy is that a DAILY Process!!), my character and personality seem to have organically morphed into my desire to be more Christ like. And we Know when Jesus walked this earth, He was an open book, living a life of complete and total TRANSPARENCY!

In addition, I've noticed at times living a life of TRANSPARENCY tends to scurrr some folks. There are those who tend to not be comfortable around me due to my uber openness and honesty. They can't handle my "rawness".  But then on the flip side, there are those who are drawn to the Light of TRANSPARENCY. It makes them feel Free and Comfortable to be themselves. To take off their Masks of Life and enjoy the Peace and Authenticity that TRANSPARENCY brings to a relationship.

As a result of being a TRANSPARENCY Traveler, I've found that my fellow TRANSPARENCY Abiders are those who have a genuine passion for life; exude boldness, God-fidence, perseverance and extraordinary courage; possess a fearlessness with a discerning spirit; are funny with pure, vulnerable hearts; are authentic in character; are free from drama, walking in humility and integrity, void of pride and ego; have a contagious positive energy; are compassionate Soul Seekers (Hallelujah Thx Holy Spirit!); are unexplainably unique and immensely trustworthy and loyal.

Family, as stated up top, this so far has been Mona's Take on TRANSPARENCY via what's on my heart to share. But I want to share another perspective via an Article from Coach with Heart entitled (click here): "Being Transparent". One of the quotes from the Article that I'm soooooooo ridin shotgun with is "Transparency is sliding aside the curtains of the soul revealing its character." Ohhhhh Yeah!! *That's* God Stuff right there!!

Now y'all know that during our time together every Wednesday, we ALWAYS have to make our way to His Mighty Word of Truth. And if there's anyone in The Bible, who lived a life of pure and authentic TRANSPARENCY beside Jesus, it would have to be my favorite Man of God.......the "Man after God's Own Heart" (Acts 13:22)....King David.

In my opinion, there's no other Scripture that best exemplifies David's consistent Life Style of TRANSPARENCY than Psalm 139.  In this magnificent Psalm, David is ALL about God searching his heart; being a part of Every Single Breath he takes; being completely open and vulnerable before his Abba Father; seeking the Lord to be ALL up in his bizness 24/7!! Well my Loves, as we close out our time together today, Holy Spirit just reminded me of what my Mommy always said to me: "Mona. Live your life in a way that what folks See is what they Get!"  Oh Yeah! Saint Peggy was truly a wise woman!

Soooooo.........Would you like to venture away from the shore of status quo with me......to walk the road less traveled......and step into the wonderful, adventurous world of TRANSPARENCY as a way of life? Where we'll find ourselves whispering quietly to our hearts and souls.......#CanYouSeeMeNow?

Happy Blessed Wednesday Family,

Today's Mona Girl Blog is about Social Media. I have to be completely honest, I am NOT a big Social Media person (hence why I procrastinated in starting Mona Girl Blog - Thanks Holy Spirit!).  But I do have a Twitter account @MonaGirlNYC that I use to Tweet His Wednesday's Blog; communicate with Friends & Beyond (my Tweets are ALWAYS too long); and to follow my fave NYC Restaurants/Food Trucks/Chefs; Inspirational Folks; ESPN/SportsCenter; Travel and Film Stuff.

You all know my Fave Team is The New York Mets and for the last few months, I've been at a location where I've not had the joy of watching My Metsies on SNY.  And since I canceled my MLB.TV Membership (to watch/listen to games live), I've been keeping close tabs on my Metsies Men via MLB Gameday and "Mets on Twitter" via MetsBlog which is by far my Fave way to track the Games. Tweets come in from the slew of Mets Reporters, The New York Mets Team site, etc.  I'm partial to the following three "Twitter Folks", (yeah, I made that up....it's a Monaism) @AnthonyDiComo, @MetsBooth and @Mets.  Their Tweets are funny, factual, informative, sprinkled with sarcasm and at times just down right witty.

Anywho.....as I was thinking about Social Media, my mind wandered to thinking about What if Jesus had a Twitter Account?!? LOL!  Yeah, I KNOW.......I am way out in the deep end today with this but come on.....take my hand and let's see where this leads us.

Soooo, we know that in order to have a Twitter Account, you have to have a Username so here are some of the Usernames I came up with for Our Lord and Saviour: @JesusChristSaves or @JC2000A.D. or @JesusRSavior and my fave, @JesusLives!

OK!! And now that we've discussed options for Jesus' Username, just imagine if Jesus came on the scene and Tweeted His First BIG Miracle - #Jesus Turns Water Into Wine at the Wedding at Cana - John 2:1-11 (read the Bible Scripture at: Jesus' First Miracle). Can you imagine the Number of Followers and Retweets and Likes He would have received INSTANTLY?!? Whewee! YOU Go JESUS!!

Or what if Jesus decided to Tweet what He did one evening in the desert with a little boys lunch (5 small loaves of bread and 2 fish), after He finished preaching to an audience of 5000+ - #Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand - Matthew 14:13-21 (read the Bible Scripture at: Jesus Feeds Five Thousand).  Can you imagine the Replies, Retweets and Instagram Photos!! Twitter would have crashed!! Hallelujah!!

OK, pleeeeeeez indulge me for just One more "What if"........What if Jesus Tweeted His Miracle when He raised His Boy and life long friend Lazarus from the Dead?!? - #Jesus Raises Lazarus from the Dead -John 11:38-44 (read the Bible Scripture at: The Raising of Lazarus). Oh YEAH!! I can't even Begin to Imagine the Selfies of Jesus and Lazarus!!! Amen Jesus!!

Family, this was FUN!! I tell you one thing......if Our Lord and Savior had a Twitter Account, I would be His BIGGEST Follower....hanging on Each and Every one of HIS Awesome Tweets!! Thanks to Holy Spirit for feeding me the **Biblical Twitter** "What If's". And as I ALWAYS say, when it comes to Mona Girl Blog, WE just NEVER know where Our Wonderful Lord is going to lead, teach and laugh with US on any given Wednesday.

Well my Beautiful Ones........Holy Spirit's dropped this Mighty God Word into my heart from one of my Fave Faith Walkers.....Graham Cooke. I love the way Graham puts his own personal Faith Journey on Blast for ALL to see. Plain, simple, "no-frills" speech so when we read IT, we see IT'S our Lord Speaking thru him to us!!

Like so many of you who've been out here with Abba doing your own Faith Walk on Water.........Oh Yeah! we've learned first-hand that *TRUST* is one of our Lord's Favorite Words!! Not just for us to Read or Say but for us to LIVE! And I'm doing my Best to LIVE & BREATHE Proverbs 3:5-6 in Real Time 24/7/365.....

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." 

It's Nothing but God's Loving Grace, that I've finally arrived at the place where I TRUST HIM......COMPLETELY! And when We finally get *Here* with HIM.........We're blessed with a front row seat to Watch our Lord & Saviour continually Show Up and Show Out in our lives!!

I know it's hard (so very hard at times), I know it's uncomfortable, I know it's not popular, I know you look cray cray at times (LOL!), I know it's humbling, I know it's beyond words.....I Know....I Know......I KNOW!!.......but the Peace and the Rest and the Divine Strength and the God-fidence and the Holy Boldness and HIS Awesome Blessings (not just for You but so You can Help & Bless Others!!) that come as a Result?! Hallelujah! It's Ohhhhhh So Worth It when We TRUST HIM.......COMPLETELY!!

Loves, please take some time today (or whenever you can) to let this God Word thru Graham Soak Deep Down in Your Heart.  It's Good Fuel and Fact for Your  Beautiful Soul as You Continue on Your Faith Journey with Jesus.

'One of the things we have to learn is how to trust the Lord wholeheartedly which means that we do not go to people first.  We go to the Lord first.  

Many of us when we get into trouble we all indulge in the ministry of hints. You know, "I'm not doing so well right now." We're trying to enlist people. We're trying to talk to the people around us.

What are we doing? We’re asking for help on a human level. I don’t think God has a problem with that but it’s not the highest level.

At some point you have to trust the Lord and the Lord alone and then He’s the one that directs your path. He’s the one that decides whether He’s going to fully meet your need himself or if He’s going to use somebody else.

But you can’t walk through this life in Christ not trusting in Christ as your number one source. This is where we learn to pray. It’s where we learn to worship. It’s where we learn to give thanks in everything.

Because why does God want us to give thanks in everything, because it positions you to receive. Thanksgiving opens you up to all the claims of God.

Thanksgiving opens you up to the majesty and the power of God. It opens you up to the affections of God. It opens you up to faith and trust for yourself so that you begin to experience God as He wants to be experienced.'
