WHEELS UP!!! #Encore!!

Happy Blessed Wednesday Family,

Over the past couple days, Our Lord's been Showing Off for Mona in His Friendly Skies!! I've had a couple Amazing Flights (day and night flights) that have been Nothing But God! And Holy Spirit brought back to memory a Mona Girl Blog He penned through me waaaaayyyy back on April 8, 2015.........so here's an Encore Read!!

Today's Mona Girl Blog is about FLYING!! Sometimes I get tickled when Our Lord puts on my heart what to write about each Wednesday and today's message prompting is **FLYING** - LOL!  Sooooo, please make sure your seat back is in the up right position, your tray table locked, cell phone/laptops and all devices with an on/off switch turned off, seat belt securely fastened...........and Here We Go!!

Since I was a little girl, I have Always LOVED to FLY.  I remember taking family vacations and I would get so excited the days prior in anticipation of  getting to ride on an airplane with my family!!  And when I took my first solo flight as a teenager to see relatives in Los Angeles - whewee!! My excitement level was off the charts!! I LOVE watching the pilots do their standard security/maintenance checks of their plane, the flight attendants greeting as you board, the baggage handlers loading passenger luggage (fingers ALWAYS crossed that my luggage makes the flight), ground traffic control, air traffic controllers in the tower, and the many, many other folks who are an integral part of this precise and strategically orchestrated Flight Team.  I am obsessed with details and organization (hence why I'm a Meeting/Event Producer) and I LOVE watching all the pieces of this grand flight puzzle come together for one final action.......one end result.......WHEELS UP!!

Whether it's a puddle/island jumper in the Caribbean, a Heavy (757) or any size plane in between, I LOVE every single exhilarating moment from take off to landing.  As a child, I would lay flat on my back on the grass and watch the planes fly wayyyyyyy up in the sky, watching the exhaust of the engines leave a long white trail that would eventually morph into the design of the clouds.  And as an adult, I will ALWAYS take time to glance up or out a window during the day when I hear a plane overhead or spend a few peaceful moments at night watching a plane with it's jewel-toned navigation lights move smoothly and effortlessly across a dark night sky. When I'm watching my Metsies at CitiField, I enjoy seeing the planes take off/land at La Guardia as they thunderously skim a few hundred feet above the Stadium.  Oh Yeah.....#Goosebumps!

I know one of the main reasons I LOVE to FLY is that FLYING puts me in a Peaceful place!  Once I'm airborne, music on the my ipod, the plane's engines humming - it's Nap Time for Mona!! And throughout the flight, My Lord will give me a little nudge from time to time to get me to open my eyes and see HIS AWESOMENESS.....HIS MIGHTY WORK in the Heavens.  Big puffy billowing pillows of white against a brilliant blue sky, reflecting little diamond shimmers of bright yellow sunlight, with vibrant green patches of land thousands of miles below.........Oh Yeah!  It's like having a front row seat with God whispering in my ear: "here's a birds eye view of my Mighty Handy Work.......an Amazing Masterpiece created just for your viewing Mona"!!  And don't get me started on when it is raining on the ground and as the pilot navigates our climb to the designated altitude....BAM!!  We instantly burst through the dark clouds into the magnificent, radiant sunlight.......once again revealing Our Lord's AWESOMENESS in the Heavens!! "He is the maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them -- he remains faithful forever." (Psalm 146:6, NIV)

I know there are some of you saying.....Really Mona!?!  Is it that serious!?! And my reply is an emphatic YES, IT IS!!  When you approach and experience FLYING this way.......you can't  help but be elevated (literally) to a whole new level in your *Seeing God in Everything*......in your "touchy/feely" time with Our Heavenly Father. One my dearest friends (Hi Christopher) has been a flight attendant for United for eons and he LOVES, LOVES what he does (flawlessly working the 1st Class JFK/Paris route). And to listen to him talk about going to "work"......you can hear the Joy in his voice (despite some flaky passengers from time-to-time) that he gets from his time in the friendly skies :)

Family, as I close out today's Mona Girl Blog, if you are not a fan of FLYING, I encourage you to give it a different look/another chance next time it's WHEELS UP for you.  There's truly nothing like being up in the Heavens in God's Country!! And just you watch.......Our Heavenly Father will give you a private show of His Mighty Handy Work in the skies.......an Amazing Masterpiece created just for your viewing.

For the last few days, I've been feeling a nudge in my Soul (Thanks Holy Spirit), that the Message Today and Beyond is to NOT GIVE UP! DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP!!

Whether it's regarding Your Family, Your Career, Your Relationship(s), Your Ministry, Your Exercise/Gym Regime, Your Education, Your Diet, Your Marriage, Your Faith Walk, Your Finances, Your Healing, Your Peace & Joy, Your Playoff Run (#LGM!!), YOUR DREAMS......YOUR LIFE!

There's sooooooo MUCH Stuff Life brings our way to Distract Us, Discourage Us, Delay Us, Dishearten Us, Dismay Us....regarding Our Life Purpose....regarding *WHO* Our Lord Made Us to Be... *Our True Self*! And if we get sidetracked, and start looking at what the World is saying about Us and Our Life Walk, if we allow the Dream Killers (aka Haters) to infiltrate our Hearts and Minds and start hanging out in The Land of Self Pity, it could lead us to getting Off Course which could lead Us to loosing Site of the Prize (OUR DREAM) and Settling for what's in front of Us.

Geeez!  Just typing the word "Settling" gives me Hives!! LOL!  NO SETTLING for any of the Mona Girl Blog Family (Agreed?!?)......THAT'S NOT IN OUR DNA!!!

So today Loves, I want to ENCOURAGE US!! To Keep On Pressing In.  To Keep On Reaching for Our Dreams.  To Keep on the Quest for Our Authentic/True Selves.  To Keep On running toward Our Heavenly Father, cuz HE IS FAITHFUL! He's a SURE THING! He's The ONE who planted Our Dreams/Desires in Us from the git go!  And when Our DREAMS/DESIRES line up with HIS for US........Oh Yeah! DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP!! No Matter What.......Pleeeeez..DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP!!

"So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he would't gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen? Who would dare even to  point a finger?  The One who died for us - who was raised to life for us! - is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us.  Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us?  There is no way!  Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture: They kill us in cold blood because they hate you. Wheweee!!!! I can DROP THE MIC and hit "Send" after that Y'all!  Now That's POWERFUL! That's nothin but God-Ordained, God-Inspired ENCOURAGEMENT!!! Biblical Style!! 

Now, YOU want to make that Scripture even More Intense?!? Read it AGAIN but this time Insert Your Name in place of "Us"!!! Oh YEAH! Takes HIS Word, Romans 8:32-39 to a WHOLE NOTHA LEVEL!!

YES!!!! I'm Walking Out this Word of ENCOURAGEMENT from Holy Spirit right along side You Loves.......Hold On!  I Just Gotta Read It One More Time!!!

OH YEAH!!! Family, Family....Are You Listening....Do I have Your Attention?!?

Well, today, Holy Spirit has us checking in on a Mighty Word from our Wonderful Friend.... Rabbi Eckstein.  This is a Devotional I read on July 3rd at Holy Land Moments and like Always, Rabbi Yechiel DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!

I know **FORGIVENESS** is one of the hardest things to Do and to Receive, not only for Others but for Ourselves!!  But Loves, if We are to Truly Walk in the Fullness of the Destinies Our Lord Jesus has for US, if We are to Truly Experience His Beyond Blessings, if We are to Truly "Love Thy Neighbour As Thyself" (Mark 12:31), if We are to Truly Love like Our Abba Father LOVES.........Yeah! We gotta get this **FORGIVENESS** thing down (smile).

So let's Read and Re-Read and Re-Read Again if necessary this Encouraging and Heart Warming Word from Rabbi Eckstein....so we can Lovingly Walk Out this thing called **FORGIVENESS**!


"Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD...." (Psalm 130:1, NIV)

There is a story from Spain about a father and son who had Become estranged. The son ran away from home, and his father set out to find him.  The father searched for months, but to no avail. As a last-ditch effort, the father took out a full-page ad in a Madrid newspaper. The ad read: "Dear Paco, meet me in front of the newspaper office at noon on Saturday. All is forgiven.  I love you.  Your father."  The next Saturday, 800 men named Paco showed up, all looking for love and forgiveness from their fathers!

How many people in life are walking around looking for love and forgiveness from their Father in Heaven?

If you're like the rest of us, you have probably messed up once or twice in your life.  We all make mistakes!  As it says in Ecclesiastes 7:20, "Not a single person on earth is always good and never sins." (NLT). However, there is also a danger in thinking that you are only a sinner. Every time we fall, there is the risk that we will be too discouraged to get back up again. The next step after sin is repentance; yet sometimes, we find it hard to move on.

In Psalm 130 King David exclaimed, "Out of the depths I call out to you..." The Jewish sages explain that the "depths" David was referring to was the depths of sin. Sometimes when we sin, we feel so low and so far from God.  We feel like we are deep in the gutters of life.  How can we possibly climb out?  How can we face our God again?  We feel distant, unlovable, and unworthy.

The sages caution us, "Do not consider yourself wicked in your self-estimation!"  If we give in to those feelings of unworthiness, we will never be restored to our true selves.  In Psalm 130 David also reminded us that God is forgiving.  He implored us to "put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption" (v.7).

God is waiting for us, loving us, and anticipating our return so that He can forgive us. We just need to return to Him.

Imagine that you open the newspaper today and you see an ad with your name on it: "Dear ________. Meet me in church on Sunday at noon.  All is forgiven.  I love you.  Your Father."

Believe it - God is sending us this message every day! We just need to turn to God in repentance, and He will do the rest.

Beautifully In Over Your Head about Anything or Anyone?  Your Love for your family, Your Golf Game, Your Ministry, Your Career, Your fave sports team, Your Home, Your Pets, *YOUR LIFE*.......Beautifully In Over Your Head?

Oh Yeah, that's serious stuff y'all! It's like a catch 22. We are consumed, in over our heads but it's BEAUTIFUL! It's overwhelming and staggering at times but it's BEAUTIFUL! It may be frustrating and cause us to want to run and hide but it's BEAUTIFUL!

Loves, have you EVER felt that way about Your Faith?  Your Love for Your Daddy God?  How You view Your relationship with Our Lord and Saviour?!?

It's ohhhhhhh so difficult and humbling at times to be Obedient in Our Faith Walks.....it's sometimes uncomfortable and inconvenient and NOT IN **OUR** LIFE PLAN......it's radical and ridiculous to other folks.......at times it's overwhelming and consumes us to the very depth of our Souls.......But it's ohhhhh so BEAUTIFUL! Walking By Faith and Not By Sight (2 Corinthians 5:7) is BEAUTIFUL!

Family, I hope You are near this point, on Your way to this point, desiring to be at this point in Your Faith Walk, in Your Love for Our Daddy God!  Cuz, again......when You touch the tip of it, when You get on the perimeter of it, when You dip your toe in it, when You move out of your comfort zone, when You have left the safety of the shore and are in the DEEP with Abba Father, when You are LIVING IT........it's ohhhhhhhh so BEAUTIFUL! You are Beautifully In Over Your Head!!

Loves, that's ALL I've got for Us today.  And Whewee, this is enough for Us to ponder/mediate on 'til next time, don't cha think? LOL!

THE BEAUTIFUL BOOK OF PSALMS

Happy Blessed Wednesday Family,

For the last few weeks, Our Lord has had me saturating, submerging myself in The Book of Psalms! One of my fave places to chill-lax in the Bible. The Book of Psalms was written primarily by My Hero, King David.  He wrote The Book of Psalms as A Love Letter to His Heavenly Father.....and that's evident when you spend time reading his soulful, transparent, passionate Words of Praise, Love and Hope! King David was TRULY a Man After God's Own Heart!

And as WE KNOW, when Daddy God's got us off doing one thing...HE ALWAYS brings along side a wonderful CONFIRMATION to add to the mix (smile). Soooo, last week, I was reading a Psalm on my fave website via Facebook The Passion Translation and stumbled across one of Daddy God's "Here Check this Out & Share" items.

OK....let me back track a tad before I share what Holy Spirit has for US today.  I have fallen in LOVE, LOVE with a new version of the Bible...The Passion Translation.  The Passion Translation (which you can read about at length via the link), has come on the scene to re-introduce, (in a God way), the Passion and Fire of The Bible.  And, if I may say so myself....they are doing an Amazing Job in such a wonderfully Godly-Orchestrated and Divinely-Reverent way. Holy Spirit is definitely behind Dr. Brian Simmons and his Anointed Ministry.  The words of The Bible already come to life for Me but when I read The Psalms in The Passion Translation (TPT) version, I feel as if I'm sitting right along side King David......experiencing and walking out each life situation he's facing.  You feel the deep intensity of each Word.  You feel his Passion, Fire and Love for His Heavenly Father. And after a few reads, the Passion, Fire and Love becomes Yours for Our Lord & Saviour! Amen!

Now, We are ready for the "Here Check this Out & Share" from Holy Spirit...........It's a wonderful look at the Top 20 Psalms of The Bible, in what I think is the King James Version, and then beneath, The Passion Translation version of the same Psalm.......Yeah! Pretty God Read :)

Loves, I hope you enjoy this deeper look at The Book of Psalms.  And, I hope the Read will re-kindle in You a new Passion, Fire and Love for Our Lord!!! AND since we are walking out this Love Fest for Our Lord together, why not use this time (if you haven't already) to give Your Life to Christ? After all, He LOVES you so VERY MUCH and Our Father God Gave His Only Son's Life for YOU! Whatcha Think? You IN?!? If so, all you have to do is repeat the Prayer below.....
