Before we get knee deep into MARCH MADNESS!, want to share with You a Revelation Holy Spirit dropped in my heart yesterday during my Lenten Season Bible Study Time: "Lent is no longer about giving up things - it's ALL about Becoming so I can Receive His Blessings." Whewee! That's pretty deep, don't cha think?!? WOW! OK. Just had to share. NOW.....ARE YOU READY FOR SOME MARCH MADNESS?!?  Loves, for those who've been reading for a while YOU KNOW I'm a Huge Sports Fan! LOVE, LOVE Baseball (My New York Metsies!), have loved hockey from birth since my Brother Mark played throughout my entire childhood, get into Football, Basketball, Tennis,Golf, etc. NO Horse Racing or Boxing.....too inhumane for my taste. But over all, being that the Cheerleader in me will NEVER die, I enjoy most All Sports and during this time of year......MARCH MADNESS is ALL about the NCAA College Basketball Tournament......Yes Mark! Still Working on my Bracket!!

MARCH MADNESS! The Time for the Underdog!

Strongly believing God has something very significant on His calendar for us this year, my seeing and hearing have been ramped up. When seeking Him for March, I keep hearing, “March Madness”! Not being a basketball fan I find myself, as usual, chasing God to find more of what He is trying to tell me. March Madness, aka the Big Dance, is one of the most highly entertaining times of the year, usually mid-March through the beginning of April. Everywhere you turn people are talking about it!

“March Madness, the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament is a single-elimination tournament featuring 68 college basketball teams from the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), to determine the national championship. The tournament is single-elimination, increasing the chance of an underdog, "Cinderella team" advancing; although these lower-ranked teams are forced to play stronger teams, they need only one win to advance.” Now let that soak in! THAT got me EXCITED!!

In the parable of the Vineyard the owner employed many workers, some started working at 9 in the morning, some at noon, some at 3 in the afternoon and others at 5. When it came time to pay them, they all received the same amount. Jesus is speaking of His Kingdom. God is employing and although many have been working since morning and others joined in at noon, He has jobs for others who’ll start now, His “Cinderella team”.

Those of you who’ve felt you’re the “underdog”, you’ve waited your entire lifetime to understand your purpose, get ready for some March Madness! You think you’re “unknown” but that is not true; you’ve been hidden, held back by God, being prepared. The truth is you are intimately KNOWN and loved by God. The beauty He’s worked into you is pure gold. Now He is going to display His Glory through you. What He has done privately, He is now revealing openly in His Light. He has been committed to you all along, perfecting all that concerns you, growing you up, assuring your wine skins will not burst. He has poured new wine into you and He is about to SERVE YOU to the world as a much needed offering, bringing HIS LIFE and LIGHT to the world. Truly saving the best for last, God Himself is getting ready to exhale through you and your life, using your history, launching you into your destiny.

“Then your light will break out like the dawn, And your recovery will speedily spring forth; And your righteousness will go before you; The glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.” (Isaiah 58:8)

Nations will be held captivated by the God in you, in awe of the most beautiful expression of His heart, a true Cinderella story He’s prepared for the ball, the Big Dance. The stage has been set. The décor carefully and thoughtfully placed to highlight YOU, there has been great attention to detail by God Himself, even the lighting is set to enhance you as you represent HIM, His Cinderella for the BIG DANCE. While two kingdoms clash, you are going to SHINE! Although the enemy thought you were hidden away in the attic never to escape, God holds the clock and God’s clock says, “Appointed Time”.

"So, do not throw away your confidence; it holds a great reward." (Hebrews 10:35) 

It’s the time for the underdog, Cinderella Team, to Advance!

NOW, for what Holy Spirit has for Us today..........

From the emails I've received from some of our Mona Girl Blog Family and the Prayers I've been Lifting Up, it's clear that WE are in a Season of WAITING ON THE LORD! Waiting on the Lord for Healing........Waiting on the the Lord for Deliverance.......Waiting on the Lord for Peace......Waiting on the Lord for Upgrades in Jobs, Housing, Life Stuff......Waiting on the Lord for His Promises to be fulfilled in Our Lives.......Waiting on the Lord for Our Breakthroughs........WAITING.... WAITING.....WAITING!

And Family, what I've learned from my **Personal WAITINGS**, it's ALL about "How We Wait" that's critical!!! Meaning that while In the Holy Waiting Room........We don't get discouraged and lose Hope, We Don't Quit no matter how difficult or frustrating, We RUN to Our Daddy God and not away from Him, We look to Jesus for Strength, Comfort and Peace, We stay in/read His Word (The Bible), We buckle down, focus on Our Heavenly Father and LEARN The LESSONS (Yes! ALL of them!), We don't book an extended stay at Woe Is Me Resort, We do our best to maintain a Positive and Expectant Mindset, We Never, EVER forget that Our Lord & Saviour is WITH US no matter what things look like! (Deuteronomy 31:8, NLT), Whewee!!......Hallelujah!!....(last one).....We learn more and more each day, wayyyyyyy down deep in our Heart & Soul, no matter how our circumstances appear, Who We Are In Christ...Our TRUE Identity!!!

Again....It's critical that while actively In the Holy Waiting Room, We DO NOT LOSE HEART!!

Oh Yeah!!! And this brings us right into the meat of today's Mona Girl Blog.......just like our title says....DO NOT LOSE HEART!!

Few days ago, Holy Spirit dropped this Fab Message by Dr. Tony Evans into my head space and WOW!! Puts ALL things in perspective.......gives some Much Needed Reassurance of Why Our Lord doesn't Always take Us the most direct (straight) route to Our Destines.......Why Our Lord most often chooses a route that includes **Detours**......in order to Develop Our Character.....in order to bring Us into closer relationship with Him........in order to Prepare/Equip Us for our God-Ordained Destiny!!

Do Not Lose Heart

The life of Joseph is a perfect example of how life’s disappointments can actually be detours in disguise. At 17 years of age, God gave him a series of dreams that told him that one day, he would rule over his brothers. He told his brothers about his dreams and, in their jealousy and anger, they threw him in a deep pit and left him for dead. Shortly thereafter, he was sold off into slavery. While serving, he was falsely accused of raping his master’s wife and was thrown into prison. All totaled, Joseph spent 13 years enduring one disappointment after another before God brought him out of the pit into the palace of Pharaoh. Why would He put him through all that?

Those disappointments were places in Joseph’s life where God needed to prepare the man for the destiny and the destiny for the man. As a 17-year-old, he wasn’t ready for all that God had in store for him. God also needed to set the stage for Joseph’s arrival; it wasn’t until Pharaoh had his own dreams and could find no one in his kingdom to interpret them that God delivered Joseph from prison and into his destiny. His disappointments, were in fact, blessings. He acknowledges this when he tells his brothers, “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result” (Genesis 50:20).

You also have a destiny. Maybe you’ve been waiting for God to bring you into it, but lately it seems as though you’re going nowhere or stuck in a rut. It looks like you’re moving further away from this destiny and in those moments, disappointment can set in. Do not lose heart; God hasn’t forgotten about you, He’s just not taking you there in a straight line.

Oh Yeah, that's serious stuff y'all! It's like a catch 22. We are consumed, in over our heads but it's BEAUTIFUL! It's overwhelming and staggering at times but it's BEAUTIFUL! It may be frustrating and cause us to want to run and hide but it's BEAUTIFUL!

Loves, have you EVER felt that way about Your Faith?  Your Love for Your Daddy God?  How You view Your relationship with Our Lord and Saviour?!?

It's ohhhhhhh so difficult and humbling at times to be Obedient in Our Faith Walks.....it's sometimes uncomfortable and inconvenient and NOT IN **OUR** LIFE PLAN......it's radical and ridiculous to other folks.......at times it's overwhelming and consumes us to the very depth of our Souls.......But it's ohhhhh so BEAUTIFUL! Walking By Faith and Not By Sight (2 Corinthians 5:7) is BEAUTIFUL!

Family, I hope You are near this point, on Your way to this point, desiring to be at this point in Your Faith Walk, in Your Love for Our Daddy God!  Cuz, again......when You touch the tip of it, when You get on the perimeter of it, when You dip your toe in it, when You move out of your comfort zone, when You have left the safety of the shore and are in the DEEP with Abba Father, when You are LIVING IT........it's ohhhhhhhh so BEAUTIFUL! You are Beautifully In Over Your Head!!

A Beautiful Sister in Christ (Heyyyy LaRanda), sent me the following WORD and Whewee!!!!..After I was able to crawl from my knees in Praise & Prayer back up to my laptop......I just had to Share IT with You!! Just like today's Title states, here's Holy Spirit's Powerful Message through His Humble Servant Jennie Allen........NOTHING TO PROVE!!

The way we interact with people eventually makes its way into our spiritual lives. So often we try to relate to God - trying to work harder, achieve more, jump farther, score higher in order to win His approval or blessing. We end up relating to God with an underlying fear rather than full of expectant, childlike, joy-filled faith.

God is not manipulated by our performance.  In Jeremiah 9:23-24, He says: "Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth.  For in these things I delight, declares the LORD."

God is not after great performances or great movements.  He is after us!!

God already knows we aren't enough but He's not asking us to be. We are the ones who have chosen to walk through the desert with enormous packs strapped to our backs full of everything but water.  As if the kingdom of God were held together by us.

To get to the place where God can be enough, we have to first admit we aren't.  Pretending we are okay is how many of us are making life work. With that illusion gone, we might have to live needing God.

And it might be hard.  Strike that.  IT IS HARD.

No more performing. No more pretending.  No more proving ourselves.

Because We have NOTHING TO PROVE!!

Dear God, I'm realizing it's not my curse that I believe I'm not enough; it's my sin that I keep trying to be.  Thank You for the reminder that life with You means I can rest, and I have nothing to prove.  Will You continue to show me Your freedom, Your power and my need to stop striving to please You and instead just live life with You?  In Jesus' Name. Amen.

TRUTH FOR TODAY:

Oh YES!!! And don't get me started on the Amazing People (His Angels), throughout the World, I've met on my Journey!! I  realize, to some of you, this may sound like a Path You Choose NOT to take....actually Run From - LOL!  But I **PROMISE** You Loves.......IT'S WELL WORTH IT!! Who You Become while on the Narrow Path with Jesus..........PRICELESS!!

I want to start off today's Mona Girl Blog by saying how HUMBLED, GRATEFUL, OFF THE HOOK BLESSED I continue to be, that each and every one of You, My World-wide Family, stop by every Wednesday!! As I've said before, YOU Fuel Me......YOU Feed Me......YOU Encourage Me......YOU BLESS ME!! I sooo TREASURE Our Wednesday's together!!! I sooooo TREASURE Your Love & Energy!! THANK YOU!!

OK!! Nowww, for what Holy Spirit has for us today.......An AWESOME "V"......IEW!! What?!?...Yeah, LOL! I know.......let me explain........

Last week, I was driving along and got the Nudge to look up into the sky where Our Lord was putting on an AWESOME DISPLAY of His Creation......with His Birdies!! As I pulled over so I wouldn't get into an accident, and took the time to BE STILL and WATCH His Magnificent Sky Show......I saw THREE Large groups of Birds.......flying in THREE Huge V's!!!  I quickly looked around to see if anyone else near me was looking UP at the sky......had Stopped like me to gaze at this AWESOME "V".......IEW.....but it seemed like I (at least within my close radius of folks) was the only one Awe Struck......Mesmerized by this special Moment Our Lord decided to share!!

Loves, it was Absolutely Amazing!! Literally an AWESOME VIEW!!!  THREE Massive groups of Birds flying in THREE Looooooong V's!! As I continued to watch them glide so elegantly and smoothly and peacefully across the radiant blue sky........I began to cry.  Yeah! I Know! That's how I'm wired (smile).  I was so consumed by the Beauty in the Sky and the fact that I was one of who knows how many at that specific time/day being Blessed by Our Lord's Magnificent Sky Show!! What An Honor to see His Mighty and Powerful Hand at Work......in His BIRDS!! Little black specs........instinctively flying in perfect symmetry in a meticulously strategic formation across the sky to their designated destination!! OH YEAH!! Nothing But God!! I was privy to.....humbled to be a part of HIS Creation's Mind-Blowing Movement from Point A to Point B!! You just can't make this stuff Up!! #DoneFork!!!

As I sat quietly, experiencing the incredible sensation of "Time Standing Still"........(which in reality was only a few minutes).......I had my own Private Time with Our Daddy God.......Witnessing His AWESOME "V".....IEW!! For a split second during the Sky Show, I tried to reach for my phone to video/record the Miracle in Real Time but in haste my phone fell and I didn't try to pick it up......I just went back to Gazing at His Glory!! Wheweee!! I'm doing my best to describe the Sky Scene but You truly had to be there with Me to Experience it first-hand. I only Pray.....Hope......someone else on this Big Earth of ours was able to See What I Saw!! A Heavenly Vision.........An Awesome View......An AWESOME "V".....IEW that I will cherish for the rest of my life!

And Y'all know me by now......because I'm a Truth Seeker and want to understand "Why" things happen.......I Googled and found this Article Why Birds Fly In A V-Formation that explains (in the Natural, "Mr. Science" Way) what I witnessed.  But I **KNOW** (in the SUPERnatural, GOD's Way), I was treated to a Miracle Moment......A Magnificent Look-See at Our Master Creator's Plan that occurs Over and Over again ALL Over Our World.....a Big 'Ole God Wink.....A Holy Reminder.....An AWESOME "V"....IEW that HE IS STILL IN CONTROL.......HE IS OUR LOVING, SOVEREIGN LORD..........HE IS STILL IN CHARGE OF EVERYTHING!!!

"Look at the birds.  They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them.  And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are?  Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And why worry about your clothing?  Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.  And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?  So don't worry about these things, saying 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?'  These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.  Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you EVERYTHING you need." I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!

Happy Blessed Wednesday Family,

Loves, before we get kneeeeeeee deep into what Holy Spirit has for us today, I need to Get This Off My Chest Right From the Get-Go.........I HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING WITH SOME STUFF REGARDING OUR NEW PRESIDENT.............. IT'S NOW COME TO A HEAD.......I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!

I've been trying to IGNORE the urges, the nudges deep in my heart and soul Holy Spirit has been bringing DAILY!!! And because I AM HIS.......and this is HIS Mona Girl Blog.......I Must sit down, be obedient and pen what He's placed on my heart.  Family, I just can't keep still!! I feel like the Prophet Jeremiah in the Bible when he was called to speak what was unpopular........what some didn't want to hear.......

"But if I say I'll never mention the Lord or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire.  It's like a fire in my bones!  I am worn out trying to hold it in!  I can't do it!" (Jeremiah 20:9, NLT)

So Buckle Up Darlings.......I'ts going to be a bumpy ride......Here We Go..........

Let me first start off by defining "Who I Am".......how I categorize/see myself now in my Faith Walk. Over the last few years, Our Lord has placed me in the presence of folks who call themselves Christians. Whether it's by physically being with them or reading articles, prophetic words, etc. that Holy Spirit has dropped in my mind space to read. And Loves, from these experiences, from seeing folks TRUE COLORS, from seeing how folks act outside the church Mon. - Sat., from seeing Souls that are empty and void of His Light, from reading articles and prophetic words that claim to be "Words from the Lord", from witnessing first-hand gossip, slander, disrespect, down-right-meanness from these so called Christians..........I NOW refer to myself as a **BELIEVER**. I feel that word better suits where I am on my Faith Walk.......I don't PRETEND to Know Our Lord and wear the Christian Mask and speak/write "Christian-ese"........I KNOW HIM FOR MYSELF! I have a Deep, Intimate, Personal, One-On-One **GENUINE RELATIONSHIP** with My Lord and Saviour! I just don't Know ABOUT GOD........I KNOW HIM PERSONALLY! OK......Breathe Mona....BREATHE!! (Thanks Holy Spirit!)

So Family, I say all that to say, that as a BELIEVER, I am having a very hard time wrapping my mind around the things I'm seeing being done by our new President and his regime that some Christians are calling The Lord's Will.......God's Will!! My entire childhood I grew up in a home, was raised in a church, where GOD IS LOVE! 

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.  He who does not love does not know God, for GOD IS LOVE." (1 John 4:7-8, NKJV, emphasis mine)

And since GOD IS LOVE.....that means Our God is a Peacemaker.......Our God has a Deep Compassionate Caring Heart for those in need......Our God is a Waymaker in times of trouble and distress......Our God is a SAVIOUR.......Our God is a Comforter........Our God RESPECTS ALL OF HIS CREATION..........Our God is Jehovah Jireh (Our Provider)........Our God Walks In Integrity.........Our God is Our Help........Our God Does Not LIE (that's satan's moniker....Oh Yeah! Speak Holy Spirit!!)......Our God is FOR US and Not Against US.........Our God is Not a Manipulator........Our God is Not a Bully.......Our God is Colorblind........Our God is Trustworthy.....Our God is Not Arrogant or Prideful......Our God is Our Protector........Our God is Our Refuge......Our God Loves US.....Our God Loves ALL the World.......OUR GOD IS LOVE!!!!!

Sooooo this is why I am where I am.....I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND.......how the things (and some of them horrible, inhumane things) being done by our new President and his regime are being supported, being lauded, being praised by some Christians. As I noted above, I've been quiet with my thoughts the last couple months but I'm at the point where this FOOLISHNESS just Doesn't make sense!! We are living in a mind-blowing, surreal time in America.........don't you agree?!? This is just down-right weirdness and very scary stuff that's taking place in Our Country!! And it's become quite embarrassing and shameful and disgusting.......this is NOT OF GOD.......THIS IS NOT "LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF"!! (Matthew 22:37-39, KJV)

Holy Spirit dropped this POSITIVE read in my lap via My Fellow Sister Blogger (Thanks Shellie!) and I wanted to share it with you.  It's a Powerful Message by Father James Martin who gives us a crystal clear look via THE BIBLE, not Father Martin's word y'all, but OUR LORD GOD'S WORD IN THE BIBLE that what's being done by the few in Washington (the Mexican Border Wall, Refugee/Immigrant Policies, Muslim Ban, etc.) is NOT OF GOD.......it's NOT Who Our Lord God Is........it's Ungodly Behavior!!

'For I was hungry, and you didn't feed me.  I was thirsty, and you didn't give me a drink.  I was a stranger, and you didn't invite me into your home.  I was naked, and you didn't give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn't visit me.' "Then they will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?'  "And he will answer, 'I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.' (Matthew 25:42-45, NLT)

Father James Martin's humbling, Come-to-Jesus Message breaks it down in Real Time, using Scriptures and Biblical TRUTH (click here): "I was a stranger and you did not welcome me."

Family, please don't get bogged down with this is a "Catholic Word from a Priest".......this is JESUS' WORD......JESUS' WARNING......JESUS' WAKE UP CALL TO US through His Servant, His Messenger, Father Martin!!!! We are getting into some pretty gnarly territory here y'all.......and as a BELIEVER........as a FOLLOWER OF JESUS........we need to be VERY VERY CAREFUL what we are praising and supporting!! God Does NOT like Ugly and God will NOT be Mocked!! (Galatians 6:7-8, MSG) And we need to be VERY VERY CAREFUL who we are lifting up, cheering on! God is NOT a fan of Idols!! (Exodus 20:3-5, GNT)

"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil.  For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." (Luke 6:45, NKJV, emphasis mine)

Loves, Thank YOU for hanging in with me today.  This has been a "Wheweeee"...."Surreal" Message to pen!! Shout Out to Holy Spirit for keeping me focused and on track.

But before I let you go today, I'm Still struggling with **WHY** some Christians are comfortable with what is happening in America.......Why some Christians are fine with these ungodly acts occurring.......Why some Christians are OK with the manipulation and pressure and bullying tactics that are being exposed and implemented........Why some Christians have no problem with their Brothers and Sisters in this World being disrespected and treated unjustly.......Why some Christians are oblivious (or is it ignoring or denying) to the fact that **Consequences** will result from this bad behavior (You Reap what You Sow)........and Why some Christians are approving this glaringly evident Un-CHRIST-Like behavior.......I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!!! And because I am sooooo VERY eager for an answer, if You are a Christian and You are OK with......in alignment with......on board with what is going on in Washington right now......step up to the plate and PLEASE EMAIL ME at wincty@aol.com or reply in the Comments Below.  I so want an explanation...because as a Word-Abider, Created-In-Jesus'-Image Disciple, Bible Truth Seeker, God-Is-First-In-My-Life BELIEVER.......I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!
