Welllllllllll, today's Mona Girl Blog is ALLLL about My Amazing New York Mets' Men!! Soooooo grab a seat and get ready for some real, over the top Gushing.........

Just like today's Mona Girl Blog title says.....I'M OVER THE MOON EXCITED!  I've got a Big Gulp filled with #LGM Kool-Aid and I'm drinking every last drop to quench a NINE year thirst!!

On the evening of Saturday, September 26th....The New York Mets became the National League East Champions and are heading to the Post Season after a lonnnnng 9 year hiatus. And YOU know what the Biblical Meaning of NINE is?!? Nine means "Divine Completion"!! Oh YEAH!! Thank You Lord!!

Family, there's been lots and lots of "I can't believe it's not butter"......"You can't make this stuff up" **Divine** things happen to The New York Mets since Opening Day wayyyyy back in April.  But out of ALL the 157 Games Played; Mets Team and MLB records broken; Exceptional Player Acquisitions; Team Comradery Strengthened, Accolades given; Awards achieved; Panic City Drama; Raccoon, Yellow Parakeet and Pigeon sightings at CitiField; Tears turned to Joy, Late Inning Heroic Comebacks, etc. etc...........there are TWO Amazing Mets' Moments that top Mona's List (SO FAR!!) for this Magical Season:

#1: On Saturday evening, 9th Inning at Great American Ball Park (one of my fave Ball Parks to watch My Metsies play), David Wright (Mets 3rd Baseman) hit his 5th Home Run of the Season in his last At-Bat in the game where the Mets Won and became the NL East Champions!! What's the Big Deal you say?!? Welll, sit tight Loves, there's more to this story........As many doom and gloomers were predicting, David should not even be **Playing Baseball** this Season as a result of being diagnosed in April with Spinal Stenosis. But that's NOT how Captain America is wired.......he fought back, battled many long, hard days of physical therapy and specially designed workouts, dreamed over and over of what his comeback would look like....and Bam! Returned to his Team several weeks ago, has NOT missed a beat, playing better than ever, and has given us Mets Fans something to talk about/remember for years to come!!  And just because I like to go over board, (after all Gushing is the focus of today's Blog), David Wright is #5. David Wright hit his 5th Home Run of the Season to secure our clinch of the NL East.  And do You know what the Biblical Meaning of FIVE is?!? Five means "Grace"!!! Oh YESSS!! NOTHING but God's GRACE that David is healed, back with his Team and PLAYING like an All-Star!!! And David, God's Got Your Back (literally)!

#2: DRAMA....D-R-A-M-A; Agent said, Team said, Player said; blah, blah, blah; noise, noise, noise; has ALL come to this Wonderful Conclusion.....that brings such PEACE in Metsville.  Lean in closer.........closer......are you listening??  OH YEAH!  The Dark Knight wants THE BALL!!!  Well done Matt! Your Team needs YOU and You've stepped up and are looking FAB doing what YOU do Best....showing off the Gifts and Talents God's BLESSED You with!  And Matt, God's Got You!

Family, as I said back in February in the PLAY BALL!!!!!!  #LetsGoMets! Mona Girl Blog: "I KNOW  that I KNOW that I KNOW My Heavenly Father is a New York Mets Fan!! AND how do I know this for sure?!? Because Our Lord is a Believer and Rewarder of Long Suffering!  LOL! Hold on Mets Fans! Our Day of **VICTORY & REDEMPTION** is coming very, very soon!!"

Well, "SOON" is NOW as the Mighty Mets' Men continue to take US on an AMAZIN journey!! Next Steps...Five more Regular Season Games (there's that #5 again - GRACE!!), then the NL Division Series and then the NL Championship Series and then YOU KNOW.........Awwww YES!! For right now.....let's just keep those TWO Exciting Words in our hearts!! The DREAM will gain more Power this way :)

COURAGE TO DECLUTTER

Happy Blessed Wednesday Family,

For the past few months, Holy Spirit's been showing me pictures of CLUTTER! Clutter in houses, Clutter in stores, Clutter on the street, Clutter in cars - Clutter, Clutter Clutter! And being aware how HE works in Mona....the ongoing visions of CLUTTER have led us right into today's Mona Girl Blog! I LOVE How Our Daddy God Works when We are Alert and Listening!

Anywho, the CLUTTER FEST manifested real time via a conversation with someone about Decluttering.  And I got to thinking...How do we get to the point that we even have Clutter in our homes in the first place?  Why do we feel the need to collect, keep, continue to add to, stockpile, hoard (the "h" word) the unnecessary stuff in our houses and spaces?

The Cambridge Dictionary defines CLUTTER: "A condition of disorder, or a lot of objects that are in a state of disorder" 

As I read the word "disorder" in the above definition, it got me thinking about when I was in my own personal Season of Accumulating Clutter and the "disorder" going on inside of Mona.  And how I was Specifically using (yeah, take my hand as I give you an uber-close-up-look into my soul) the outside/external Clutter to cover up the inside/internal Clutter in my life.  When I STOPPED long enough to take a look see behind my actions, the REAL REASON behind my Clutter Fest, it took me to a whole notha soul searching level! Oh Yeah! I was collecting Clutter on the Outside to hide/cover up the Clutter on the Inside!! Whewee! What a revelation!! (Thank You Lord).  

Loves, Clutter in Our Lives is Real.  And it's usually a sign of some deeper soul stuff that we need to Pause and Ponder for a spell to see the REAL REASON behind our subconscious actions.  And again, speaking from personal experience, I was ONLY able to STOP my Clutter Fest (which to be honest had grown into a full-blown Clutter Frenzy) when I realized I was buying/collecting more and more stuff because I was at a stage in my life (from 2009 to 2011) where I was dealing each day with the decision to step out in Faith, be Obedient to the Lord, and move to NYC after over 20+ years of living in Chicago.  It was a SCARY time in my life and the the act of shopping and collecting unnecessary stuff was distracting me from some Real Life Issues I was NOT willing to deal with...Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt, Trusting God to name just a few (smile).

But OH Loves, I've got good news for Us!! Once I spent some time doing some honest and a tad uncomfortable soul searching; along with riding shotgun with a couple Holy Spirit provided Scriptures that I personalized ("And my God will supply ALL my needs according to the riches of His Glory in Christ Jesus" - Philippians 4:19 and "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me" - Philippians 4:13); Staying In and Soaking In His Word - The Bible; and of course some much needed Prayer Time alone and with a confidant ..............I was able to put a STOP to my Clutter Fest Frenzy.......Purge/Donate mostly ALL the Clutter Fest items (which Blessed Others in the process) and move forward with what Our Daddy God had NEXT for Me.....a good, new life in NYC Clutter Free! I finally had the COURAGE TO DECLUTTER........Inside & Out!!

Now I'm not saying it was as EASY as it appears typed out in the above paragraph but it was NOT as painful and traumatic as one would imagine.  But again, once I got the COURAGE TO DECLUTTER, it Truly became easier to release from my life those things that were causing me to Clutter up my home and my life!! And Family, as a Clutter Freak in Recovery, I can Honestly say - There's NOTHING like **FREEDOM FROM CLUTTER**.....Inside & Out! You and Your Home Will Look and Feel Better!!

Loves, as I close out our time together today, I leave you with a couple Scriptures to mediate/ponder on regarding your personal Clutter Fest and hope you get to the point where you finally have the COURAGE TO DECLUTTER!!

Jesus looked closely at the man.  He liked him and said, "There's one thing you still need to do. Go sell everything you own.  Give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven.  Then come with me." (Mark 10:21, CEV)

"This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God." Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.  For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.  Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them.  And how much more valuable you are than birds!" Well Loves.......TODAY....... Our Lord has me sharing with You **A PRAYER FOR PEACE**. **A PRAYER FOR PEACE** in Your Own Life!!

And that's TRULY something We ALL need right about now with ALL the Foolishness and Drama and Life Stuff that's swirling around in our daily atmospheres :)

So Here We Go.....


Dear Heavenly Father,

Please calm my spirit today.

Please forgive me for worrying about the people and circumstances that surround me.

Please replace anger with Peace.

Please help me to keep my focus on Jesus, author and finisher of my faith.

Please help me to focus on what I need to accomplish today, and what You want me to do.

Help me to put away all wrong thoughts and please keep me from wrong actions.

I want to be a steady, stable, godly person who is a pleasure to be around and a loving witness of your mercy and glory.

May I be an instrument of your Peace today.  

In Jesus' Name I Pray, Amen.

Coming Full Circle: A New Level of Mastery

When we come full circle there is the feeling that we have come to a familiar place but we are somehow different.

Life is a circular journey through our issues and processes, and this is why things that are technically new often seem very familiar. It is also why, whenever we work to release a habit, change a pattern, or overcome a fear, we often encounter that issue one last time, even after we thought we had conquered it. Often, when this happens, we feel defeated or frustrated that after all our hard work we are still dealing with the same problem. However, the reappearance of a pattern, habit, or fear, is often a sign that we have come full circle, and that if we can maintain our resolve through one last test, we will achieve a new level of mastery in our lives.

When we come full circle, there is often the feeling that we have arrived in a familiar place, but that we ourselves are somehow different. We know that we can handle challenges that seemed insurmountable when we began our journey, and there is the feeling that we might be ready to take on a new problem, or some new aspect of the old problem. We feel empowered and courageous to have taken on the challenge of stopping a pattern, releasing a habit, or overcoming a fear, and to have succeeded. At times like these, we deserve a moment of rest and self-congratulation before we move on to the next challenge.

Coming full circle is like stepping into a clearing where, for a moment, we can see where we came from and where we are standing at the same time. Remembering that we will be tested again is important, but it's also important to pause and take a look at the ground we've covered, honoring our courage, our persistence, and our achievement. Then we can begin the next leg of our circular journey with a fuller understanding of where we are coming from. 

Oh Yeah! Whatcha Think? God Stuff, Right?!? What a RIGHT ON TIME Word for Such A Time As This! Family, I am sooooooo excited for Us who are at this point in our Faith Walk......at this stage on Our Life Journey. There's NOTHING like the Peace and Assurance that comes from KNOWING we are Finally in Position, in Divine Alignment with what Abba Father has Done, is Doing and is going to DO NEXT with Us!

Loves, as I leave you today to ponder Your Own Personal COMING FULL CIRCLE....here's a couple Words from the Lord to ride shotgun with you over the next few days........

"Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person.  The past is forgotten, and EVERYTHING is new." (2 Corinthians 5:17, CEV, Emphasis Mine).

Today's Word is a SHOUT OUT & PRAYER for our Mona Girl Blog Family who don't live in America.

Over the weekend, Holy Spirit dropped a Video on my path that truly moved my heart and deeply touched my soul. As a result, I want to encourage ALL our Mona Girl Blog Family around the World to KEEP THE FAITH! Don't Stop Praising, Loving On and Worshiping Our Mighty Lord and Saviour! HE SEES YOU......HE LOVES YOU.....HE'S WATCHING YOU and HE'S SMILING Big Time!!

Beloveds, I cannot even begin to image the hardships and sacrifices and DANGER you face Each and Every Day to Walk as a BELIEVER.........as A CHILD OF GOD!

Reality Check!: Speaking for myself when I say I take my Freedom to Serve Our Heavenly Father for granted.  I can Pray in public by myself or with others.  I can Play my Praise & Worship Music from morning to night on my laptop, ipod, tablet, stereo, etc.  I can Go into any House of Worship I choose.  I can proudly display my Cross necklace EVERY DAY.  I can Read my Bible on the Subway, in the Park, at the Airport, on a Plane! I can Post Words of Faith on all my Social Media Accounts.  I can Shout Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus! out loud when Daddy God gives me a *God Wink* during the day.  I can Genuinely and Authentically be HIS in front of whomever....wherever...whenever! I can humbly serve as HIS SCRIBE for HIS MONA GIRL BLOG EVERY WEDNESDAY with no fear or worry for my life.

Oh Yeah! My International Brothers and Sisters.......I will no longer take my FAITH BLESSINGS, my LOVE FOR OUR LORD & SAVIOUR for granted.........I Promise!!

Family, please give me your hands, bow your heads, close your eyes and join me in Prayer for our Brothers and Sisters around the World.....

Father God, we come to you right now Praying a **PRAYER OF PROTECTION** over All our Brothers and Sisters throughout the World who have given their Lives to You Jesus.  Lord, we Pray for their 24/7 covering in the Blood of Jesus as they continue to Serve You, Honor You, Touch Souls for You, Worship You, Sacrifice for You, Stand Mightily and Strong in their Faith for You. Father God, please give them Your Peace and Comfort to know that their Faith and Love for you is not in vain. When they leave their homes (some in cars but Most On Foot) in the middle of the night or at the crack of dawn to go to the Holy underground, hidden, secret Houses of Worship, Daddy God please KEEP THEM SAFE. When they Worship and Praise You Lord for multiple hours on end, Monday - Sunday, in uncomfortable circumstances of heat, cold, confined space, darkness, please Holy Spirit continue to SHOW UP and SHOW OUT in their humble Presence!! Anointing, Healing, Touching and Saving Souls for Your Kingdom! Father God, we PRAY for each and every child who is baptized in these Sacred Hidden Places of Worship for we Know Abba Father that You have ALL these young souls under Your Mighty Watchful care! Lord God, we PRAY for the Pastors, Ministers, Clergy and all Ordained Saints who risk their lives to lead and shepherd their flocks. Please continue to give them Strength and Courage and Wisdom to stay true to Your Mighty Call over their lives. And finally Jesus, let these Beautiful Saints, these Brave and Tenacious Soldiers of the Faith, these Water Walking Warriors grow to be more and more like You as they Persevere, NEVER GIVE UP and NEVER GIVE IN... DOING IT ALL FOR YOUR HONOR & GLORY!! We THANK YOU Father God for Hearing and Answering Our PRAYER, right now, in real time! In the Matchless and Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. AMEN!

Please *REMEMBER* Loves.....we may not be with you in person but we're with you in spirit, we're ALL part of the Awesome Family of God, and we Love you very, very much!!

And for my Brothers and Sisters in Christ in America, Oh Yeah! When Sunday Service (the **ONE** Day out of the week we go to Church) God forbid runs long (more than the standard cookie cutter 30 minutes or an hour) or if the heat or A/C is not working perfectly, or if you don't like the Pastor's Message, or if you don't FEEL like Worshiping, or if you can't park your Car in your usual spot and have to walk a few more feet to the door, or if you're seated in a pew that's a tad over crowded, or if no one notices the new outfit you have on, or if someone less fortunate than you isn't dressed to the nines, or if you're going to be late meeting friends for Brunch, or if someone is Getting their PRAISE on and it makes You uncomfortable, if........If......IF!!!!!! SO WHAT!! PLEASE BE QUIET! PLEASE STOP COMPLAINING! PLEASE STOP THE NONSENSE! And instead GIVE THANKS to Our Heavenly Father that we can Worship and Praise HIM IN SAFETY & FREEDOM!! (Ouch Mona! Yeah!  I'm speaking from personal experience cuz I've done this or had this done to me!! Truth Hurts Sometimes!!)

I read a quote last night (Thanks Holy Spirit!), that accurately depicts our Western Christianity.  "The tragedy of this late hour is that we have too many dead men in the pulpits giving out too many dead sermons to too many dead people.  Oh! the horror of it." - Leonard Ravenhill (As my friend Shellie says...."That'll PREACH!")

I humbly suggest We take our puffed up, pride-infested souls and Learn A Lesson from our Sweet-Spirited Brothers and Sisters around the Globe of what TRUE Fellowship, a DEEPLY Intimate Relationship with Our Heavenly Father, and PURITY of Soul REALLY looks like and We STOP PLAYING CHURCH!!

"One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple." (Psalm 27:4, NIV)

OK Loves, I'm done. Getting off my soap box. Asking you to please take a Selah moment and get ova being irritated with me so you can Clear your Mind and Heart and Watch this beyond inspirational TESTIMONY of PURE, GENUINE, AUTHENTIC Saints, (this video from our Brothers and Sisters in China), Who LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their Lord and Saviour and are NOT AFRAID TO SHOW IT!!
